Job Description
My client is part of a chain of luxury Golf and Country Clubs in the UK. After a brand new refurbishment, they are now seeking a strong, highly experienced Food and Beverage Manager for their site based in Cheshire near Manchester. Job purpose: To develop the role of Food and Beverage Manager to achieve an increasingly efficient and effective method of operating.
Main duties:- To be responsible for the standard of presentation of all catering areas including storage areas.
- To be responsible for manning levels and rotas within the food and beverage department.
- To ensure the correct procedures are followed regarding the ordering, receipt, storage and usage of food and beverage stocks and monitor profit margins on an on-going basis.
- To achieve the food and beverage sales targets and net profits as laid down in the budget.
- To ensure all food and beverage staff have been fully trained and perform their duties in a correct manner.
- To recruit food and beverage staff where necessary.
- To create and introduce methods to increase profits.
- To assist in the preparation of budgets regarding the sale of food and beverage.
- To report on the progress in the food and beverage department.
- To liaise with the Head Chef in the development of menu ideas.
- To liaise with the Head Chef regarding the smooth running of any functions/events and general day to day catering business.
- To assist with promotion and selling of all Club functions and events.
- To liaise with all other members of staff to ensure a smooth running catering operation. Co-coordinating and directing regular staff meetings to ensure that staff awareness and morale is maintained.
- To be responsible for all catering related expenses including maintenance of equipment.
- To be responsible for Health and Safety issues in all catering areas.
- To undertake Duty Management shifts as required.
My client is willing to pay £25,000 for the right candidate, including management bonus.
