Job Description
My client is the owner of a luxury 4* Golf and Spa Hotel near Dundee in Scotland. They are currently seeking a Leisure Club Manager to oversee the facilities and leisure team at the property.
Role Summary:- - To successfully oversee the effective general day to day Leisure Club operations between the two sites at the Leisure Club and Spa, ensuring all appropriate Health and Safety practices are adhered to on all occasions through effective training of your team.
- - To be instrumental in developing the leisure and beauty partnership approach to sales through effective delivery of the agreed departmental sales and marketing actions plans which you will develop and drive with the team.
- - To work alongside the Golf Professional and his team, as well as the Events and Reservations teams, assisting in the management and delivery of all appropriate hotel inbound relative leisure club and beauty sales enquiries and converting same to confirmed status
- - To oversee and manage the collection of all leisure club membership payments, maintaining appropriate databases and filing systems
- - To proactively drive improvements in leisure club operations, always aiming to improve consistency of service delivered within the agreed budgetary payroll confinements
The ideal candidate:
- - Will be a cool operator and team player that thinks on their feet and thrives on the usual daily multi-tasking and reporting deadlines and challenges
- - Will be an excellent communicator that takes pride in their own presentation and resourcefulness
- - Will have had a minimum of two years experience within a quality hotel leisure club
- - Will currently hold, or be in training for, all appropriate leisure club related qualifications
My client is particularly interested in candidates that have experience of the beauty therapy marketplace and the unique challenges associated to this area of the businesses.
My client is offering a salary of £17,000 basic with bonus incentives and other benefits.
